The Morse Code – Black Edition print from the Signature Collection pays homage to one of the foundational encoding systems of modern communication.

It presents the internationally recognised Morse alphabet and numerals as formalised by the ITU Radiocommunication Sector — a concise, universal language of dots and dashes developed by Samuel Morse and Alfred Vail in 1836.

Each symbol follows a strict temporal logic: a dot equals one unit of time, a dash three, with fixed proportional gaps separating symbols, letters, and words. This modular rhythm allows perfect transmission through sound, light, or signal, and anticipates the later principles of information theory — efficiency, minimal ambiguity, and universal readability.

Viewed graphically, the arrangement forms a visual language of intervals and pauses. The alternating marks read as both code and composition, linking early telegraphy to contemporary design and to the enduring beauty of ordered systems.

Signature Series

The Signature series forms the core of Axisophy — a series of mathematical visualisations and scientific infographics that reveal the structures underlying our world.

From geometry and number theory to astronomy, geology, and evolutionary biology, each design transforms data and theory into elegant visual form.

These works celebrate the shared language of science and design: clarity, proportion, and order made visible.

Black edition

Our Black edition prints use a deep matte giclée surface that produces exceptional depth and richness of tone, but this finish is delicate and easily marked.

For that reason, Black edition prints are only available pre-framed, ensuring the surface remains pristine and protected behind glass or acrylic.

Printing & Materials

Our Signature series is produced in collaboration with specialist fine-art printing partners using museum-grade 250 gsm archival giclée paper.

Each print is made to order with exceptional precision and colour accuracy, using pigment-based inks for long-term stability and rich tonal depth.

Prints are carefully rolled in acid-free tissue and shipped in rigid cardboard tubes to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, ready for framing.

All materials and processes are chosen for their longevity, texture, and fidelity to the original artwork, reflecting our commitment to quality and craft.
